On 26th and 27th of April, experts from the Bulgarian Safer Internet Centre conducted ten trainings of over 270 students aged 11-13 y.o. The trainings took place in six schools located in the town of Aytos (the High Schools “Hristo Botev” and “N. Y. Vaptsarov”) and the nearby villages: Karageorgievo (Primary School “St. Cyril and St. Methodius”); Maglen (Primary School “Hristo Botev”); Pirne (Primary School “Hristo Botev”) and Topolitsa (Primary School “Svetlina”).
Fourth, Fifth and Sixth grade students were trained how to protect themselves and to react in case of cyberbullying or if exposed to any other risk while online. The training was very interactive and engaging for the students.
On 27th of April the Centre’s experts conducted Parent meeting on the topic of Online Safety for the parents of fifth grade students at SU “Hristo Botev” in Aytos.
The trainings were organised with the invitation and cooperation of the local Commission for Combating Antisocial Behaviour by Minors and Adolescents at the Aytos municipality.
