The campaign against sexualized online behavior #облечисебе (Dress up) was presented at the ninth annual national youth conference, which was organized by the Youth Parliament of Gorna Oryahovitsa between March 11-13.
Over 60 children, adolescents and adults took part in the Conference "Dos and Don'ts.. For a Few Likes More", which was held on the 9th February 2016 to mark the Internetional Safer Internet Day.
On the 9th February 2016, the Bulgarian Safer Internet Centre marked the International Safer Internet Day with the Conference on the Internet of the Future “Dos and Don’ts…For a Few Likes More.” The Conference started with a short ceremony, on which three Cyberscout teams from the Bulgarian towns Popovo, Smolyan and Vidin were awarded.
Like in the rest of the word, the international Safer Internet Day will be marked in Bulgaria on 9 February 2016 for the 13th consecutive time. As originally proposed by the European Commission, every second Tuesday of every second month each year public attention is drawn towards safer and more responsible ways for children and young people to use Internet and mobile devices.
The Bulgarian Safer Internet Centre and the Faculty of Preschool and Primary School Education of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” held a joint press conference on the 9th February 2016 – the International Safer Internet Day.
An inaugural meeting of the National Coordination Committee of the Council of Europe’s campaign “No Hate Speech Movement“ 2016-2017 took place on 28-29 January 2016 in Stara Zagora. The Bulgarian Safer Internet Centre joined the initiative and became a member of the Coordination Committee.

The Bulgarian Safer Internet Centre and its Hotline received on 29th December a special award of the Ministry of Interior for contribution to the work of police at the annual "Policeman of the Year" ceremony.
