The original idea of the Luxembourg Safer Internet Centre BeeSecure to arrange a kind of “Mobile Clinique” for checking the security of mobile devices used by kids was adapted and for the first time implemented by the Bulgarian SIC on 21 June.
More than 30 families received a free of charge check of the security of the mobile devices of their kids against a check-list with 10 indicators. More than half of them won green sticker for a “healthy” smartphone or tablet. The rest deserved only a red sticker for a device in need of cure.
More free-of-charge checks by the Mobile Clinique are to follow during the summer.
The initiative was supported by one of the biggest telecoms in the country – Telenor Bulgaria.
