What is cyberbullying, sexting, inappropriate content and online sexual exploitation learnt over 120 students coming from different schools in the Kremikovtsi district. The trainings took place during the first two weeks of May 2022 and were part of the initiative organised by the Local Commission for Combating Juvenile Delinquency – Kremikovtsi and the Safer Internet Centre. The schools which were visited by the experts were in Butonets, Kremikovtsi, Chelopechene, Seslavtsi, Buhovo and Vrazhdebna.
The trainings aimed to familiarise the students with the main online risks and to teach them the appropriate skills in order to know how to prevent and to react in case of a problem online. The students managed to recognise the key risky situations (Cyberbullying, online blackmail/extortion, online sexual exploitation, fake news and misinformation) with the help of role games, discussions, group work and brainstorming. They also learnt how to use the Hotline and the Helpline of the Bulgarian Safer Internet Centre in case of a problem online.
